Weekend Photo Challenge: What Matters

For this weekend you will bring in three photos of a subject sacred to you. Light the photograph in a way that shows just how important this subject is to you. Let the editing and lighting show how you feel about this subbject.

Examples:

Take several images of the same subject. Adjusting camera angles, focus, etc.

We will rate the photos on Monday.

Final Photos will be turned in on Tuesday, 10/1

What I’ll be Grading You On:

  • Clear/In Focus Image
  • Using the angle and the light that shows how you feel about the subject.
  • How well you were able to select your final image.
  • How well you edit your final image.

To Do List for 9/26

Learning Target:

  • I can use fast shutter speed to freeze a person or object in motion.
  • I can reflect on the practice photo I took yesterday.
  • I can make a plan for what my final photo will look like.

Steps:

  1. Shoot your practice photo for the new Photo Challenge: Fast Shutter Speed with symmetry.
  2. Post the practice photo to your Adobe Spark Page.
  3. Write a reflection on how you could freeze a fast motion subject and double it for the final image.
  4. Make the final photo for the assignment.
